The more I think about this post I wrote for Handshake 2.0, I realize that it’s not just about influencing your boss or management team. It’s really about effective communication, mindful influence, respectful engagement of the people in your world.

The opening line of the article, “Got a good idea that that you think is worthy of proposing to your management team?” could read,

Got a good idea that you think is worthy of proposing… to your parents •  to your executive boardto your customers •  to your editorto your project teamto your hiring manager to your social group •  to your kids •  to your family •  to yourself.

Our ability to come at ideas from the other person’s perspective is where real dialogue begins. Be brazen with your ideas and smart with your approach.

Cheers to a great day everyone!
